2016
Establishment of the organization.
2017
Obtained the first funded project.
2018
Official registration;
Establishment of the first project community, Menggang Village;
The first board of directors and supervisors is formed.
2019
Facilitators' Forum on rural revitalization;
Determining the development strategy of the organization : demonstration sites creation, theoretical construction, and consulting services.
2020
Received funding for a mentoring project for the first time;
Compiled MNSC's Work Philosophy Manual;
Moved into Yanta Village, Anning City, Kunming, and started a project to help revitalize rural areas.
2021
Explored new resource channels;
Formulated a strategic plan for 2021-2026;
Formally proposed the development direction of community climate change adaptation;
Agreements with Yunnan Agricultural University, Yunnan University for Nationalities, and Yunnan University of Finance and Economics on practical training bases.
2022
Compiled the “Local Knowledge Handbook for Climate Change Adaptation” and the “Facilitator Supervision Handbook”;
Joined the Yunnan Golden Snub-nosed Monkey Protection Network;
Promoted the Yunnan Climate Change Co-learning Group;
Carried out community action on climate change adaptation;
Executive Director Dingfang Shen was selected as a Ginkgo Fellow.
2023
Improved institutional management structures;
Organized rural revitalization forums;
Developed tools and methods for climate change adaptation;
Became a member of the China International Non-Governmental Organization Cooperation and Promotion Association.
2024
Organized the Integrated Development Forum in the Face of the Climate Crisis;
Implemented the Community Climate Risk Assessment Empowerment Project;
Signed a training base agreement with Guizhou Normal University;
Signed a tripartite cooperation agreement on rural revitalization assistance with the Anning Civil Affairs Bureau and the Agriculture and Rural Bureau;
Received a 4A rating in the social organization rating assessment by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs.
